New mattresses and pillows are always difficult due to the body needing time to adapt to changing posture. I have been dealing with a stiff neck for 2 years and I have been attempting to remedy it by working on my strength and posture. The first week with the pillow was difficult because it is not soft and fluffy like a traditional pillow so it’s less inviting when you hop into bed. That strangeness is why it works. It keeps my head and neck supported, stable and aligned. After 2 weeks my neck stiffness is GONE and my sleep track watch indicates I’m moving less and getting more uninterrupted sleep. For reference information I’m a 90% back and 10% side sleeper. 6 feet tall and 215lbs. I use a nasal pillow cpap mask. My advice would be to try your bast to persevere through the initial adjustment period before deciding opinions about this pillow. I hope it provides you the same relief I have gained from it.

I have arthritis in my neck and have used an orthopedic/cervical pillow for many years. It's hard to find one with just the right amount of firmness and comfort. When I first received this pillow, I thought, "I'm never going to be able to sleep on that thing!" Well, I was particularly tired the next afternoon and decided to go for a little nap and try out the new pillow. I slept for three hours and awoke in the same position! It felt a bit awkward at first, but I've been using it the past three nights and have never slept better. I'm a back sleeper mostly, but sleep on my side as well and this pillow provides just the right amount of comfort and support for either position.
